The detox process involves either the medicinal or psychological removal of a toxic substance(s) from your body. For the most part, the detox process can be a bit of an unpleasant experience where your system is cleansed of the addictive substance and any residual toxins that have built up during your addiction. There will be a withdrawal period during which time you return to normalcy.
