Aftercare Services for Drug Rehab
Aftercare services offer re-enrollment in the drug treatment program if after successfully graduating from the program, the addict relapses within the first six months.
The addict may be eligible for additional treatment services at no cost. This can be a benefit to addicts that have experienced relapse despite prior treatment.
Some addiction treatment facilities also offer extended long-term care. A “work exchange” program can be available to addicts who have completed their treatment programs. The “work exchange” program allow them to stay for an additional 6 months, helping other addicts complete the treatment program (for salary, room and board.)
